JYR Workshop violas are handcrafted by our richly experienced luthiers. The quality of workmanship goes far beyond this price range. The tops are made of good quality Asian spruce, and the back and ribs are made of aged maple (aged and dried a minimum of 5 years). Plenty of inventory of tonewood and experienced luthiers allow us to make various replicas of violas made by the old masters, such as Stradivari, Amati, Maggini, Guarneri del Gesù, Rugeri and Guadanini. From beginner level to professional violas are all available.

The violin is beginner and intermediate level violas made by incredibly talented luthiers especially for discerning string players. Uses selected supreme-quality maple and spruce materials. • Strings:We select from Pirastro, Larsen, Dominant ect. The strings chosen might differ depending on the characteristics of each instrument.
